Chrome experiment

This may or not make any sense:

If you've ever seen the movie Ratatouille, there is the moment when the cynical old critic tastes the dish in the restaurant - and is instantly transported back to his childhood.

It felt a little like that for me when I watched this experiment. It's delightfully simple, but makes a huge point:

In a way, it put the final nail in Flash's coffin, at least in my mind. Flash is so tightly constrained by it's own swf - whereas this piece dances across several windows at once. Flash - who's frame-for-frame greatest use is now consigned to transporting the BBC around the planet, is conceptually dull, overwrought and stodgy by comparison.

IMHO - this is an extraordinary peek at the massive social, business and creative possibilities that lie just ahead...
