"...this is the site that makes real the travelling gnome in the 2001 movie 'Amelie'. It's essentially a travel blogging site, but with a major twist.

The site originally came to us as a rough prototype, and it took several months for the funding to come together for a full rework of the concept.

There are some aspects of this site, like the mapping, that took as much discussion and debate as it took actual work. My job was the theming, based on designs by Igor.

Now that the site is live, it is gaining popularity. Would I use it? I think the whole thing is crazy..."
