The challenge was that it wasn't obvious how the site was going to survive real life, where content gets changed and pages added and stuff that looks great on paper starts to fall apart.

Martin did the theming and I took over for the build - we were working to a tight budget and we had to use Drupal's 'Panels' module to create the structure of the page layouts. Panels is a powerful tool, and is especially handy for complicated and varied designs

In the end, I think we stayed faithful to the design and also delivered a site that will last..."
